What is the difference between viruses and bacterias ?internet security 2006
Here is a fairly complete description of differences:
http://www.microbe.org/microbes/virus_or...
A few notable ones are: size (bacteria are much larger!), complexity (bacteria are more complex), ability to replicate (viruses require a host to reproduce).
The body CAN fight off both harmful bacteria and viruses! :-)
Good luck!

Actually, viruses are from outspace. People we are always being invaded without really knowing. did u reaslise that much of the new viruses did not exist in the last century. Most of them are new ''immigrants''. Seriously do some research and there is indication that viruses may have been drifting in space and some reach our earth.
Oh yes, initially they could not classify viruses because their structure was always kind of peculier. They only had DNA, and none of the other cellular inclusions.
Actually u should do some research. Look up: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virus for more information. If u look at the photos there u will see that their body structure looks rather like an alien creature, it has more of a geometrical body structure rather than a globular, irregular body shape like most other animals.
