sometimes I believe people saying that computer viruses are created by anti virus creator corporates. you know, people only buy their goods if there are viruses right?! lol.

Computer viruses were created with various intentions, but one reason would be, identity theft.. its sad to know that some jerks out there aren't man enough to get a job, like most people... I have very little information on how to create viruses, but it takes skills to make them and affect millions of computers..
In the old days virus's were created by unskilled kids for bragging rights and impressing their friends and attackers they met on IRC. These days virus and malware is created by black hats for the money they are paid by organized crime to infect as many computers as they can to become zombies organized crime then sells or leases these pcs to clients they pay the under world top dollar for access to these machines which are used for spamming, denial of service attacks, fraud whatever the client needs.
