There is a free anti-virus program made by Microsoft which used to be specifically for large corporations but they have not made it available to home computers only for free. Go to www.avgfreeedition.com. You kinda have to do some searching to find the free download version, but it is there and I downloaded it a couple of days ago. So far, it has worked great. You have to manually do updates yourself rather than it automatically doing it for you like McAfee or Norton, but I think I can afford to do it manually for the price of these other 2. You can also download a free spyware program from the same place. When you get to the page to download, the virus program is displayed first then scroll down and the spyware is next. You do get a 90 trial of the full version of the spyware, but then you have to do still get the use of it, you just have to do manual updates just like the virus program. Believe me, I did alot of checking out free virus programs before choosing this one. And it was listed as 2nd of the top 5 free programs.

buy norton antivirus. its completely free and i haven't had a virus that didn't get solved ever since i got it.
Ask someone else who likes to part with their money to buy you the software. Otherwise, it looks like you will need to cough up the money for the software.

There is a method other than erasing the viruses from your computer. You would need your operating system reloaded, and your data, and your software applications. In other words, starting over.

Unless you know someone who does this free to help others, I think money will be spent to fix this problem--money from you or from a generous friend.
