I've been using Limewire for months with no problems. That doesn't mean there are not viruses. It only means that I have not downloaded one. Get some good anti-virus software. Make sure you have a firewall installed. And pray.

Ha, It's depend! Sharing programme will never gurantee for you that you won't get any virus. Some bad guys can use this to spread out the virus. But you can only get virus if you click to download something that contains virus. Otherwise you won't get any.

So technically, Limwire doesn't have any virus, but Limwire's users can have virus and they can be transferred to you ;)

You better to have an Anti-virus soft and should check for lastest definitions.
