yes. the first forms of life considered are the bacteria. if not for them, there may never be multicellular organisms. and now, after millions of years of survival, these organisms are everywhere. some bacteria can thrive in mouths of volcano or under the ice sheets of antartica. of course, humans are no exception. the human body is a nice home for millions of different organism.

they have survived for the longest time and they will continue to be anywhere. also, the different species of bacteria is so diverse that they say, well known bacteria are just 1% of all the bacteria where most have not been discovered.

Viruses are really the dorminant species since it ha no real treatment but bacteria can be cure though it also kills. Viruses can pass through the smallest filter.
Probably. Viruses are particularly nasty and research scientists are forever having to find new ways to keep them under control or in check, they are adaptable, constantly changing, always opportunists under the right condtions. Bacteria, while they can be as devastating, are also vital for our own health and the planet's. There's good bacteria and bad bacteria. Correct me if I'm wrong but I dont know of any good viruses - yet.
yes they are, because a lot of the higher order lifeforms even humans depend upon bacteria to live, we use these creatures a lot more than we know, for example they are present in our stomach and when we die they eat us from the inside and we return back to the earth. they may lack ambitions, but always the more simple the creature,the more dominant it is

well cockroaches have been around for a few billion years and are still far from extinction....
