I am thinking of getting the nokia N73, as this is a 3G phone,do i have to buy antivirus software for it?

There is anti virus for mobiles- some websites have anti virus scans especially for mobile phones- this depends on where you are located etc.but you can ask your service shop about it.

If you are careful with your mobile, you won't need the antivirus even, just keep the bluetooth off (when not in use) and don't received messages from unknown sources. Many people don't buy the anti-virus.

Also you can restore your phone if it has been hit by a virus- you can do this by reformatting the phone. However, you should write down all the contacts names and numbers etc first. The hassle would be having to rewrite the contact numbers again. Photos etc would however would be loss BUT there is now the option to back up all your phone contacts and pictures on the computor. So it will all work okay in the end.

Just KNOW your phone and back up your info. Get the N73 and don't worry about it. at all. Enjoy your phone!
