AVG is a free anti-virus that blocks the viruses. It's pretty fast and very efficient.
No. I recommend AVG Anti Virus - they have a free version at http://free.grisoft.com. I've used both the free version and the professional version, and both have done a great job of keeping systems protected.
There is a website http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ that i know some people have had good luck with. For me, the computer I was using was too old and crappy, but my mother said that their services were able to fix a lot of the errors with her computer. It is the only FREE service tht i have herad of anyone having luck with

NO! Back up your important files (pics, music, etc).. including your common software (if it's not on a disc) and Re-Install Windows. That will take care of it.
